In order to survive in an ever changing ICT industry, businesses need to reinvent themselves and innovate to keep up with this change, according to Finsure Finance and Insurance co-founder and managing director, John Kolenda.
The reason for establishing CompTIA was to drive the IT industry forward, according to CompTIA industry relations senior vice-president, Nancy Hammervik. She was speaking at the global trade association’s first meet in Australia.
Non-profit IT Industry Association, CompTIA, formalised its arrival in the A/NZ channel when it held its A/NZ Channel Community meeting in Sydney at Sheraton on the Park. The CompTIA A/NZ Channel Community is dedicated to Australia and New Zealand based resellers, solution providers, distributors, vendors and channel associates. It offers companies engaged in IT delivery services a forum for ANZ-specific discussion, and provides an understanding of how CompTIA can best serve the A/NZ channel and its members. Attendees heard keynotes from Co-Founder, Managing Director Finsure Finance and Insurance, John Kolenda, and Channel Dynamics director and Community Staff Leader for CompTIA, Moheb Moses. And there was plenty of time for networking at at lunch and late afternoon drinks.
