  • Chris Trevitt - General manager of Channel Sales A/NZ, EMC has resigned from the vendor but at this stage, remains coy on his next move.

  • Greg Miller - General manager and VP of global partner operations, SAP left the vendor to “pursue more expansive leadership opportunities".

  • Alister Dias has been crowned as the new VP and Managing Director A/NZ of VMware, after leaving the same role at EMC.

  • Xero has appointed Anna Curzon to the position of New Zealand Managing Director, replacing Victoria Crone who resigned in December to run for Mayor of Auckland.

  • Lincoln Goldsmith - General Manager A/NZ, Acronis left the vendor to join Cisco Meraki as APJ Channel Sales Manager.

  • New Zealand technology firm Fronde appointed Anthony Belsham as chief executive, replacing Ian Clarke who steps down following seven years in the role.

    Unisys hired Tony Windever as its new vice president and general manager for enterprise solutions in Asia Pacific - he steps into the role vacated by Scott Whyman.

  • VMware A/NZ vice-president and managing director, Duncan Bennet stepped down from his role at the end of 2015.

  • Intel Asia-Pacific and Japan regional sales director, Philip Cronin, resigned from his position at the end of 2015 to focus on a local role.

  • PowerbyProxi reappointed Fady Mishriki as Chief Executive Officer, stepping back into the role after originally serving as founding CEO for almost seven years previously.

  • John Beaumont (left) left data and information management company, CommVault, after a six-year tenure.

  • Avaya A/NZ managing director, Jeff Sheard, will leave the company on February 13.

  • Ray Owen will become the Head of Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands as part of the planned combination of Nokia and Alcatel-Lucent.

  • Dave Rosenberg (pictured) - Managing Director of Westcon-Comstor A/NZ expanded his local leadership team with the appointment of James Mackay as Comstor A/NZ Business Unit Manager and Rhys Shannon as Director of Services and Cloud, A/NZ.

  • Toshiba Group will implement a series of management measures under a Toshiba Revitalization Action Plan, including reducing its headcount by 6800, about 30 per cent of its global total.

  • Geoff Lawrie stepped down as Country Manager of Cisco New Zealand in November, after nine years in the role.

  • As part of the planned executive transition, Dave Wilson assumed the role of Country Manager of Cisco New Zealand.

  • IBM lost three high-ranking executives in December - with Steve Mills, the 43-year company veteran who was most recently executive vice president of IBM Software and Systems, Danny Sabbah, its chief technology officer for cloud, and Brendan Hannigan, general manager of IBM Security, departing Big Blue.

  • Telstra's newly appointed head of retail Karsten Wildberger quit the company after less than two months in the job.

  • Former vice-president of market research at rhipe, Stephen Parker, has launched his own consultancy - 1 Vision OT.

  • Nick FitzGerald, a renowned information security expert, joined ESET as a Senior Research Fellow, focusing on the whole Asia-Pacific region.

  • Dick Smith CEO Nick Abboud tendered his resignation after just over three years in charge.

  • Polycom appointed former Managing Director of Avaya Australia and New Zealand, Tony Simonsen to the role of Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand.

  • Inabox Group appointed former Telstra Digital general manager, Chris Ford, as its new CTO.

  • Ruckus Wireless appointed John Dunbar as Head of Sales for Enterprise in New Zealand.

    Former Brennan IT general manager of sales and marketing, Stephen Sims, has been promoted to CEO as founder Dave Stevens steps down as managing director.

  • RainCheck has appointed Gaurav Patni as its vice-president of global strategy and business development.

  • IBM appointed Amanda Johnston-Pell as chief marketing officer for A/NZ.

  • Apple named Jeff Williams, former vice president of operations, the company's new COO, taking up Tim Cook's old role.

  • Enghouse Interactive appointed Kath Murphy as its interactive sales manager for A/NZ

  • Magna Systems appointed Heinz Herrmann to head the company as group chief executive.

  • Samsung Electronics Australia promoted Harry Lee to the position of president within the company.

  • Blue Coat Systems appointed Nick Noviello as its new chief financial officer, joining from NetApp.

  • Commvault appointed Owen Taraniuk as its new vice-president of Asia Pacific and Japan.

  • Samsung Electronics appointed D.J. Koh, head of mobile research and development, as the new chief of the company's mobile business.

  • Schneider Electric appointed Joe Craparotta as Vice President of Schneider Electric’s IT Business in the Pacific zone, while also stepping into the newly created role of Vice President of Strategic Customers and Segments, Pacific.

  • Avnet appointed Sean Valcamp as its first chief information security officer (CISO).

  • CyberArk hired Vincent Goh as its new vice president of sales for Asia Pacific and Japan.
