Wacom Cintiq Companion Hybrid: Android graphic tablet tries to do too much

The Hybrid may be the perfect multi-touch pen tablet. But if you rely on smaller gadgets for the road, you may be disappointed.

  • Any sketches I made usually ended up staying in SketchBook Pro unless I decided to export them to Dropbox—USB export was too much of a hassle.

  • The Hybrid is about the footprint of my 2009 15-inch MacBook Pro, and weighs 3.6 pounds. It's a little hefty for an on-the-go tablet.

  • As beautifully illustrated as Wacom's three-in-one plug is here, it's still a bit of a pain.

  • Not Wacom's most attractive software in the world.
