IN PICTURES: ARN Security Breakfast, The Mint, Sydney
The first ARN Security Breakfast at The Mint was a lively affair with an outstanding panel debate hosted by ARN's Rimin Dutt and featuring Klasie Holtzhausen (Symantec), Glenn Welby (Cisco), Crispin Kerr (Webroot), James Turner (IBRS), and Craig Nielsen (McAfee). Discussion roamed far and wide and included a detailed look at the impact of forthcoming major changes to the privacy laws, the BYOD effect, and the single undeniable truth that every business needs to seriously look at its security and how it can be improved. It's a simple reality that your business could be next to be hacked. Opportunities for the channel were also delivered by the panel to the dozens of resellers who attended. The Security Breakfast was sponsored by Cisco, McAfee, Symantec and Webroot. A second breakfast will be held in Melbourne on June 12.
