Being able to access resources and experience unavailable within Australia is a critical benefit for the local channel to be able to find competitive differentiation and market opportunities. Being part of the Arrow APEX program around HPE technology has allowed 4 leading Australian channel organisations to attend facility tours in Singapore, and come back prepared for 2018 with a greater understanding of the technologies and the value proposition they can offer to their clients.
The trip to HPE’s Singapore factory and centre for excellence is an incentive offered to the highest performing partners in the Arrow APEX channel program. Despite being the “reward tier” of the program, Arrow and HPE built it into the overall channel program as an opportunity for partners to gain valuable insights and information otherwise unavailable in Australia. This would help make partners more effective across the entire sales cycle domestically.
“The Arrow APEX program delivered a number of key benefits to Accucom Systems Integration including access to key HPE Vendor training programs and valuable working relationships with Arrow pre-sales and technical resources, allowing us to secure more deals in less time using superior product knowledge and rapid turnaround of pricing. Sam Sarkis, technical director, Accucom, said. “Not to mention it was great to win one of the divisions and be on the reward trip!”
The program will be extended into 2018, and built on further to help ensure that the year is even bigger and better for partners. The trip is part of a comprehensive annual roadmap of support, events, and opportunities designed to provide resellers with a comprehensive training and upskilling. This is all part of Arrow and HPE’s strategy to skill and provide dedicated businesses with a higher skilled workforce that make them more effective from pre-sales to post implementation support.
“Arrow is an excellent business partner which helped Vizstone's success through its innovative programmes and incentives, and by being very responsive, efficient, and giving us access to trained technical staff,” David Lam, enterprise infrastructure architect at Vizstone, who also attended the Singapore trip, said.
APEX 2017 saw more than 100 training courses and certifications handed out, and more than 250 Arrow-generated leads handed to partners to create new pathways to market. Where will 2018 take you? Register your interest today at http://www2.ecs-anz.arrow.com/arrow-apex-an-arrow-ecs-channel-initiative.
