Data exchange platform provider Data Republic has appointed Paul Arthur into the new role of general manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Data Republic’s Sydney office, Arthur will be responsible for working with sales and "customer success" organisations.
Before his appointment, Arthur was the country manager for A/NZ and the general manager for APAC at Cherwell Software from 2015 to 2019.
Prior to that, he worked at A2K Technologies in various general managerial positions for three years, Autodesk as a sales director for A/NZ for three years and at BMC Software in various director positions for nine years.
Danny Gilligan, Data Republic CEO, said Arthur’s previous experience in high growth technology businesses makes him “the perfect leader” for the position.
“Paul joins the team at a really exciting time for Data Republic,” Gilligan said. “Paul has a real focus on delivering customer outcomes and I’m excited to see him deepen our already strong relationships with major brands like Westpac, Qantas and ANZ.”
Arthur added that he is interested in promoting the benefits of utilising data insights to help other businesses in the new role.
“Many organisations are only just beginning to understand the enormous value and opportunities presented by data and data collaboration,” Arthur said.
“Data Republic is ahead of the curve and I am keen help enterprise organisations transform through data-driven insights.”
Arthur began at Data Republic at the end of August 2019.
