Ping Identity reveals new program for APAC partners

Identity defined security vendor Ping Identity has announced a new channel program that provides more structure, improved training programs and a clear formal engagement process.
“This is a significant increase in investment in channel partnerships within the Asia Pacific region," Ashley Diffey, APAC channel and alliance manager for Ping Identity told ARN.
For the first time, Ping Identity will offer Asia Pacific partners with a structured partner program in the Asia Pacific region with four levels: Registered, Authorised, Preferred and Elite.
The new program will assist partners to further develop their identity practices. It will also for the first time includes face to face and online training; certification for sales, presales, consultants and architects; focused partner management and market development support.
"These new features will all reside in a new central portal for the channel partner which enables us to run analytics to better understand the types of businesses each partner is successful with," Diffey said.
"Understanding this allows us to provide more personalised support to the partner in developing specific campaigns and individual training and development programs to target these businesses and vertical markets."
According to him, the program is designed to incentivise, recognise and reward commercial partner achievements as Ping Identity continues to grow and meet the demands of the local market.
"We believe that the combination of training and enablement will well position Ping Identity to meet the demands from the A/NZ enterprise market as security continues to be a key area of business focus," Diffey added.
Diffey was appointed as Ping Identity's first channel and alliance manager for the APAC in January.
He joined from Venn IT Solutions where he was a general manager for less than a year having established the company’s Victorian branch in Melbourne and expanded the company’s portfolio of customers.
