Data#3 expands Canberra office as demand grows

Data#3 has expanded its Canberra office as a response to growing customer demand from its businesses including Business Aspect.
The technology services and solutions provider acquired Business Aspect in 2014 for $6 million.
Data#3 increased the number of staff and the depth and breadth of capabilities it is making available locally to meet the growth.
Specifically, the Brisbane-based business has expanded all parts of its current solutions and services including consulting, software, infrastructure and services delivery.
The expansion will also see Data#3 increase the number of security-cleared people inside the ACT region, which is a key requirement for many of its customers.
"Data#3’s business in the ACT is growing through a combination of our own expanded capabilities, as well as the continued strengthening of our local partner engagement," Data#3 general manager for the region Paul Crouch said.
"Customers in Canberra have always appreciated our local presence, and many have said they are pleased to see our local team expanding. It’s a journey we are very happy to continue and accelerate."
A steady pipeline of customer opportunities has set Data#3 on course for growth during the current financial year posting net profit after tax of $6.1 million, or a 126.7 per cent increase.
During the first half of FY19 ending 31 December, the technology provider's total revenue was up 17.7 per cent to $644.4 million, which included $142.7 million of public cloud revenues.
