DXC's Eclipse to roll out Microsoft Dynamics 365 to Seed Heritage stores

Deal will see 400 stores across multiple countries with new system

DXC Technology subsidiary Eclipse has announced it will roll out a Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution across 400 Seed Heritage stores in multiple countries.

The fashion retailer was established in 2000 and is part of the Brandbank Group, which owns more than 500 stores across Australia alone.

Seed's thousands of employees will benefit from a single solution across all aspects of the operation from point of sale, back office, finance and logistics.

“At Seed Heritage, we plan to expand the business both locally and internationally," said Anthony Cronwright, manager, strategic projects and business improvement at Brandbank. "To achieve that, we needed a system that would provide a streamlined, integrated approach and would deliver a single view of the customer.

DXC Eclipse and the Dynamics 365 solution were chosen after an "extensive" due diligence.

"We chose to partner with DXC Eclipse because of its proven experience and track record of successful projects in the retail space. DXC Eclipse’s fashion retail expertise was a critical deciding factor,” Cronwright said.

He also explained that Dynamics 365 will give the business the scalability and reliability it will need to support its operations in all regions.

According to DXC, the retailer will experience immediate anticipated benefits including a centralised view of each customer, regardless of which channel they use to interact with the business.

Dynamics 365’s ability to integrate all departments across the business will help the company improve its customer service and drive growth.

"More and more retailers are undoubtedly looking at digital transformation as a way to meet customer expectations now and into the future," said Martin Wildsmith, director at DXC Eclipse.

This was the first time DXC worked directly with Seed Heritage, although the company has worked with the group before.

DXC Technology, through its DXC Eclipse practice, claims to be one of the largest independent Microsoft Dynamics partners in the world. The DXC Eclipse team in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific supports over 1,200 customer sites in the region.
