Managed services provider Cirrus Networks has opened a brand new office in Canberra as the company grows organically and also through acquisitions in the territory.
The new space currently houses 30 staff but has space to accommodate up to 60 people.
In November 2017, the publicly-listed MSP acquired Canberra-based systems integrator Correct Communications in a deal worth $5 million.
“We are already seeing the benefits that the new office space is presenting to our team, both locally and nationally, as our investment in collaboration technologies is allowing much more interaction between our office, our remote staff and our other office locations,” said Andrew Weir, ACT state manager and CTO at Cirrus.
Headquartered in Perth, Cirrus is also present in Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory.
Cirrus Networks closed the 2018 financial year with total revenue of $76.1 million for the year ended 30 June.
The result represents a 41 per cent increase in the technology provider's revenue compared to $53.9 million in 2017.
Specifically, the Victoria-based business saw a 569 per cent increase in revenue from $896,000 to $5.1 million, accounting for the first full year contribution from the NGage business, which was acquired in March 2017 for $2.5 million.
