Australian IoT integration platform provider, Reekoh, has propelled itself into the Asia market after partnering with Malaysian-based IoT systems integrator, called IoT Integrator (IoTi).
IoTi is focused on being a ‘one-stop shop’ for customers and using Reekoh’s IoT data and API management tools and integration platform, it will help adapt offerings from some of its vendor partners including Microsoft, IBM, AWS, Bosch, Nokia and Sigfox.
Reekoh CEO and co-founder, Dale Rankine, said the partnership will extend its reach into Malaysia and surrounding markets that are undergoing their own rapid development and adoption of technology trends such as IoT.
Reekoh currently has offices in Australia, Manila and Singapore.
“System integrators find our platform and approach very complementary to the way they are building their own solutions and businesses. By enabling them to rapidly bring together their own partner communities and apply their skills and experience with those technologies to IoT, is a massive benefit to them and how fast they can move,” he said.
IoTi CEO and co-founder, Vicks Kanagasingam said as an integrator, it was focused on providing end-to-end IoT solutions that will bridge the digital divide for SMEs.
According to research firm Gartner, in 2018, half the cost of implementing IoT solutions will be spent on integrating various IoT components with each other and back-end systems, highlighting the fact that integration was a crucial component in IoT competency.
This follows on from Reekoh's recent customer wins in September, striking a licensing deal with Ipswich City Council that will use their platform for its internet of things, data intelligence and digital city initiatives.
The company also landed a multi-year deal with water savings company, WaterGroup, licencing its internet of things (IoT) platform in a bid to help Aussie residents save over $1 million in rates.
