Kiandra IT drives early growth in 2017 with new head of software development

Melbourne-based integrator, Kiandra IT, has appointed Christopher Grant as its new head of software development.
As part of the his new role, Grant will be responsible for the financial performance and operational success of the company’s software development department.
Reporting to Kiandra IT managing director, Cameron Brookes, Grant will be responsible for running the software development and software delivery practice groups within the business.
He replaces Daniel Prior, who has left Kiandra IT after ten years to head up the software division at sport technology company, Catapult Sports.
Grant will be “playing a key role in defining and operationalising strategy across the department and organisation,” according to his LinkedIn profile.
He will also be charged with collaborating with sales to secure new business and ensure client satisfaction, and ultimately responsible for overseeing the management of all projects to ensure favourable outcomes for Kiandra IT and its clients.
Grant joins the company from Serraview, where he spent two years as a delivery manager. Prior to that, he was a project team lead at OBS, a company where he spent more than seven years.
Kiandra IT said Grant brings a solid track record of success in software development, professional services consulting, as well as infrastructure and transformation projects for customers in new markets.
