Oracle has honoured its top performing partners across the world, with NTT Communications taking out the Australia and New Zealand Regional Partner of the Year award.
NTT Communications COO, Tarquin Bellinger, said the company has been partnering with Sun and Oracle since 1999, and continues to invest heavily in its Oracle capabilities, expertise and Oracle Cloud offering.
“The solutions we are implementing for customers have enabled us to eliminate barriers to innovation, implement the right design to meet business demand and to increase our focus on providing solutions that help with running a smooth IT operation,” he said.
“Today we have one of the largest team of infrastructure experts outside of Oracle itself and provide services to some of the largest Oracle customers in Australia.”
In the specialist Asia Pacific categories, Brisbane-based Rubicon Red was awarded Specialised Partner of the Year: Middleware.
“This Award is great recognition of our performance across the entire company specifically in terms of project delivery and our middleware expertise, our DevOps software and the ongoing investment in our talented team,” Rubicon Red director, James Hemmings said.
“We are proud to have delivered many successes for our customers - migrating Dev and Test to the Cloud, upgrading from Middleware 11g to 12c, and our Managed Services."
Meanwhile, NeoData Australia took home the Specialised Partner of the Year award in recognition of its PaaS Cloud Transformation work across APAC.
The company’s consulting director, Robert Loughnane, said his team helps customers on their journey to cloud – right from strategy development to fulfilment – with such validation cementing the company’s position as a premier provider of data and information management consultancy in Australia.
"To receive a second award for cloud innovation on behalf of our client, an iconic Australian company based in Sydney, is the icing on the cake," he said.
"The solution we are being recognised for is 100 per cent cloud, combining data warehousing, business intelligence and data integration and delivers the company a world class reporting and analytics capability, at what was proven to be a really affordable level."
Presence of IT was awarded the HCM Cloud Partner of the Year - APAC in the specialised category, with co-CEO, Shane Grobler, commenting on the company's "strong history of successful Oracle cloud implementations", with the award further strengthening its position in the HCM market.
