StorageCraft Technology has strengthened its expanding team in Australia and New Zealand with the hiring of two IT professionals, on either side of the Tasman.
Firstly, Craig Murphy has taken the position of Channel Account Manager, based in Auckland and with an entire New Zealand market remit.
In addition, Michael Watson has joined the storage specialists as Business Development Manager based in Brisbane, covering Queensland, Western Australia and Northern Territory.
Having both joined StorageCraft earlier this year, Murphy arrived from Dimension Data, where he spent more than six years, first as HP Business Partner Solution architect and later as HP Alliance manager, earning the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Platinum Partner of the Year Award in December 2015.
Before that, Murphy held sales and business development roles with Axon Computer Systems and Maclean Computing, beginning his IT career in sales at Microsoft in 2003.
Meanwhile, Watson arrived at StorageCraft from IQ3 in Brisbane, where he was an account executive for almost four years.
Earlier, Watson held a similar role with Intalock Technologies, after moving from XSI, where he was an account manager role for more than six years.
“The strong demand throughout Australia and New Zealand for our ShadowProtect backup and recovery solutions has prompted us to go into expansion mode,” says Stan Nelson, General Manager of Australia and New Zealand, StorageCraft.
“In line with our 100 per cent channel policy, we are seeking employees who really understand the channel and know what it takes to build strong relationships.”
