Kaseya bolsters global leadership team with two new executive appointments
IT management and services company, Kaseya, has beefed up its global leadership team with the appointment of two new executives. Brian Serino has been named executive vice-president of worldwide sales while Mike Puglia has become the company's first chief information officer.
Kaseya said, in a statement, that these global appointments are designed to spearhead growth across the more than 20 countries in which Kaseya operates. According to its president and CEO, Yogesh Gupta, Serino and Puglia bring a tremendous wealth of experience, especially in enabling and driving the success of Cloud software businesses.
“We couldn’t have found two more talented and successful team members to help us take our business and our customer relationships to the next level,” he added.
Serino, who will now head all worldwide sales, mentioned that his aim in this role includes expanding the company’s customer base and network of partners around the globe.
“Given Kaseya’s position in the market and the major enhancements made to Kaseya’s IT management Cloud portfolio over the past two years, I look forward to driving the company to new levels of growth and to enabling the continued success of our customers,” he said.
Serino replaces former global sales leader, Brian Murphy, who departed back in January for reasons not divulged.
As CIO, Puglia will be in charge of driving Kaseya’s go-to-market systems infrastructure, as well as all other key IT functions, and strengthening the company’s foundation for growth. The CIO role is new and Puglia is the first to hold it.
“It is an exciting time at Kaseya, and as we accelerate our growth, our underlying technologies will be an important enabling factor. I am thrilled to become a part of it to help drive our growth and customer adoption.”
Puglia is a Cloud-based solutions veteran, bringing to Kaseya more than 20 years of enterprise technology experience. Before taking up this role, Puglia served as Kaseya’s vice-president of technology programs. Before that, he was was the head of marketing for TimeTrade Systems. He’s also had former experience working in tech companies such as Salesforce.com, Veracode, and Bluesocket, among others.
As for Serino, prior to joining Kaseya, he was senior vice-president of sales and business development at NetProspex. Before that, he served as the senior vice-president of sales at Neolane (which got acquired by Adobe) and also ran North American Sales at Unica (acquired by IBM).
