Perth based power protection company, Power Shield, has launched the latest iteration of its defender uninterruptible power systems (UPS) range of power units.
The 650VA is an addition to the firm’s small and home office automatic voltage regulation (AVR) UPS offerings.
The Defender range uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to minimise the effects of fluctuations in input voltage, this protects equipment from power line disturbances.
Power Shield said its 650VA is designed for PC, home office, work station, network device, point of sale, phone equipment and home theatre applications.
The unit features surge protection (312 Joules/6500 Amps) microprocessor control, Australian outlet sockets, surge suppression port, voltage stabilisation, user replaceable batteries, auto restart, off-mode charging and a cold start function.
For connectivity, it has USB communication and free NetGuard downloadable software. The unit is compliant with A-tick, EN62040-1-1 2003, IEC60950-1: 2001, EN62040-2 2006.
