Rimini Street touts new investment and presence in A/NZ

Software maintenance company, Rimini Street, is set to ramp up its awareness, education and media outreach in Australia and New Zealand.
The plan is part of what the firm describes as an “aggressive growth strategy.”
It provides enterprise software support for SAP Business Suite, SAP BusinessObjects software, Oracle Siebel, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, E-Business Suite, Oracle Database, Oracle middleware, hyperion and Oracle retail software.
The firm claims its offering can reduce the total cost of maintenance for customers by up to 90 per cent.
Rimini Street managing director Asia Pacific, Andrew Powell, said the company had been actively growing in the region for the last two years and the local market had welcomed its offerings.
"We are disrupting the annual software maintenance market which has traditionally been inefficient from a customer value perspective,” he said.
“SAP and Oracle provide an impressive range of applications that are widely adopted, however users of those applications are questioning why they should be paying around twenty-two percent per year for maintenance services.
"They are weighing up how that money can be better spent as their application roadmap matures to a hybrid of on-premise and Cloud."
Rimini Street chief executive and founder, Seth Ravin, will be visiting customers in Sydney and Melbourne during the week commencing February 23 as part of the local expansion strategy.
