Myriad IT upgrades Scentre's ERP platform

Melbourne-based IT services provider, Myriad IT has upgraded the core ERP platform for Scentre Group, owner and operator of Westfield in Australia and New Zealand.
The project was delivered in conjunction with Scentre's IT resources including architects and project managers.
It was delivered in two phases, across several divisions, and the delivery of this final phase is the culmination of more than 18 months work involving hundreds of people.
Myriad IT said it was delivered on time and within budget for its long-term partner.
Myriad has worked with them for a number of years supporting their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), system, based on Oracle JD Edwards.
The upgrade sees Scentre use the latest release of the application, which will reduce complexity and drive efficiency improvements.
"This was a very large scale upgrade project involving a large number of people,” Myriad IT Oracle consulting practice manager, Shannon Moir said.
