US-based KEMP Technologies moves further into channel with partnering success story

Now has five system integrators signed up as KEMPCenter Partner

US-based traffic management vendor, KEMP Technologies, launched its partnership program in Australia, earlier in the year. And it's paying off.

The program, to relay application delivery controllers (ADC) to channel partners, now has five system integrators signed up as KEMPCenter Partner, and the vendor claims it has been growing exponentially with partners being the focal point of its success.

“The partner program provides reseller partners with sales and technical support to drive its load balancer sales,” said Norbert Kiss, KEMP Technologies vice-president Asia-Pacific.

A two-tier program that varies based on engagement and focus, the KEMP Partner Program, gives partners a chance to grow from being an Authorized Reseller to a KEMPCenter Partner, with ever-expanding sales, marketing and technical support tools available online.

"We've done well in the channel in Australia and throughout the region and, often for the partners, it's a new area segment for more revenue opportunity," Kiss said. "We can provide this solution for the value-added reseller [VAR] at a lower discount structure where they can benefit from for higher margin."

KEMP’s load balancer ADC products are currently available as a hardware, virtual appliance, or bare-metal operating system, and it also offers Cloud-enabled versions, which will allow partners to scale applications and provide solutions on virtually any platform.

"Since we deal with software, it's a low-cost acquisition and there is a greater opportunity to wrap services around the KEMP platform and realise margin," Kiss said.
