2014 ARN ICT Industry Awards: Nominations extended until midnight, July 2

But there will be no further extension

Due to overwhelming demand, ARN is happy to announce that nominations for the 2014 ARN ICT Industry Awards have been extended until midnight, Wednesday, July 2.

This year nominations have been flowing in, virtually since they opened a month ago, and, in particular, from many younger channel companies, start-ups and new players, all eager to take on the older, well established, tech giants in some categories.

However, many businesses are also finding it hard to get their nominations finished by the original deadline because they are busy wrapping up end of financial year reports and associated business. Hence the need to extend the deadline and ensure everybody gets their EOFY work finished and enters the Awards.

ARN would appreciate it if companies could still get their nominations in as early as possible within the remaining days as it helps us in the processing that follows.

You can currently nominate for 25 awards. Voting for the popular Channel Choice Awards will open later in the year.

Now in its eighth year, the awards recognise and celebrate industry excellence over the past year. To be hosted at a Celebration Dinner on Wednesday, September 3, at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney, the 2014 awards theme is Celebrating Bravehearts – channel courage and triumph in the ICT industry.

As the entire industry continues to evolve towards new business models and addresses the sweeping technological changes, ARN wants to commend the courage and tenacity witnessed in the vendor, distributor and reseller communities.

Companies and individuals have a chance to self-nominate across seven categories including: community; personal innovation; vendor; distributor; reseller; telecommunications; and homegrown innovators.

New on the awards agenda this year is Cloud technology as part of the Vendor category. You can nominate for the industry’s finest solutions addressing Cloud in any of the three key areas: Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS); and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS).

Get nominating or miss out

To nominate, simply go to the Nominations page on the ARN website and click on the specific award link. This will direct you to the simple to navigate online questions.

Each category has four or five questions as part of the award criteria. With a varied mix of questions, you have a chance to put your best foot forward in answering the criteria, but please limit your responses to the maximum word count set per question. (Please see the specific instructions for each individual question as your guide).

ARN strongly recommends companies only self-nominate to ensure the best chance of success with our 90-strong judging panel. Please note that you only need one nomination submission to be in the running for your chosen award (other nominations cannot be considered). Then simply enter your name, company name and email address and you’ll be in the running.

Nominations close on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at midnight.
