Blue Jeans network launches Cloud-based video meetings with up to 100 people

Cloud-based video conferencing firm, Blue Jeans Network, has expanded its service to host video conferencing meetings with up to 100 participants.
The new enhancements are part of the company's goal to provide one consolidated service for every business meeting, providing video, audio, and web conferencing under one easy to use platform.
Using the platform, all attendees are able to participate via audio and video with up to the nine most recent speakers featured on the screen.
In February, Telstra launched a new service provided by Blue Jeans.
As a Web-based solution that works with most video systems and devices, Blue Jeans makes it easier and more cost-effective for businesses to adopt video conferencing, according to a company statement.
Customers opting for Blue Jeans with Telstra gain the benefits of a local point of presence in Australia maximising best possible internet performance and reliability.
99designs chief executive, Jason Sew Hoy, said the service was of benefit to her company, which has more than 100 employees across nine countries.
"Our business model is based on collaboration, and face-to-face connection helps us get the most out of meetings."
Blue Jeans chief commercial officer, Stu Aaron, said there was a fundamental shift happening in the marketplace with increasing demand for a single tool to manage all kinds of business collaboration cohesively.
"Businesses are clamouring for an easy way to connect and collaborate over audio and video, and share multi-media content across all their platforms from mobile devices, to desktops and laptops, to conference rooms," he said.
