TechnologyOne has made two senior leadership appointments as part of its goal of becoming the largest Cloud enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
Paul James, formerly general manager of professional services at Hosted Continuity (a company he co-founded), has joined TechnologyOne as Cloud general manager.
The position has him responsible for executing the company’s vision for its Cloud business, which includes meeting emerging market demands and the needs of its rapidly-growing customer base, while providing a go-to-market strategy to achieve a best-in-class status.
James has 17 years’ experience in senior sales and management positions from his time at PlanTec, DigiCompass and AMP Financial Services.
Scott Castles has been appointed to the role of Cloud services director, in which he is tasked with developing an efficient and agile Cloud service to meet the company’s customers’ business needs.
Commenting on the hires, TechnologyOne executive chairman, Adrian Di Marco, said, “After significant investment in research and development and a restructure of our business model, TechnologyOne is proving itself as one of Australia’s leading Cloud solution providers.”
“Our move to Cloud has provided us with a simpler, faster and more flexible model. We do not have to deal with databases, technology and complexity. We are focused on our own business, and this is something we really wanted to show our customers.
The company runs its own enterprise software for its customers through the TechnologyOne Cloud.
