Jim Watson elevated to Asia role, Gavin Jones appointed to lead A/NZ

Enterprise mobility solutions provider, Good Technology, is supporting what it calls “explosive growth” in Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) with the appointment of Gavin Jones to the newly-created role of vice-president and general manager for the region.

Another factor is the “wholesale shift to mobility platforms, whereby organisations are conscious on how they can secure enterprise data and segregate it from personal data,” Jacques said.

Based in Sydney, Jones replaces Jim Watson who previously led both Asia and A/NZ, but will now serve as vice-president within the former, where he will focus on new and emerging markets from his current Melbourne office.

Jones joins Good after seven years with; he was most recently financial services regional director and was in charge of managing relationships with large Australian financial services companies.

Before, he held senior leadership roles with Oracle and Avaya.
