Eaton appoints lead for its local electrical business

Eaton A/NZ electrical business vice-president and managing director, Anoop Nanda.
Power management appliance vendor, Eaton, has promoted Anoop Nanda to lead its electrical business as vice-president and managing director for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ).
Based in Sydney, his new role will have him leading growth and propelling sales and marketing presence.
“This is an exciting time to lead the Eaton electrical business in A/NZ and to partner with the industry to meet the critical power management challenges of both today and the future,” Nanda said.
Nanda has worked at Eaton for eight years, filling numerous senior management positions. He was most recently Eaton electrical sector managing director for ‘rest of Asia’ where he was in charge of leading growth of the company’s range of power distribution, power quality and automation products.
Prior, he held the role of integration director, leading overall integration of the Phoenixtec acquisition in Taiwan and mainland China. Nanda has also worked as Eaton’s electrical sector supply chain management director at its headquarters in Pennsylvania, where he managed the global logistics and materials management functions.
Before joining Eaton, he was director of business development and marketing at Danaher Corporation. In this role, he was responsible for the organisation’s overall marketing communications, business development and new product innovation.
Nanda was also employed by HCL-HP where he looked after sales of systems and software to the government sector.
