Eaton opens doors to new Customer Experience Centre

Diversified industrial manufacturer, Eaton, has opened a Customer Experience Centre which will be used to train and demonstrate its products and integrated solutions to end users and channel partners.

The 150sqm facility is located at the vendor’s Australian headquarters in Mascot, Sydney.

Customers with specific power management requirements will also be able to test an Eaton partner recommended product at the Centre for a tailor, specific purpose in a live requirement.

“We look forward to the business benefits which the Centre will bring to our channel partners, including enhanced training and the opportunity for them to introduce end users to our products and solutions,” Eaton Asia-Pacific (APAC) power quality marketing manager, Michael Mallia, said.

“Customers will have an ideal opportunity to test drive a product as part of their decision making process.”

The Centre hosts a number of new products, including Eaton 5P UPS which launched today. According to Eaton, it is an energy-efficient, virtualisation-ready appliance which meters energy consumption, provides kWh values and key analytics through a graphical LCD display.

The vendor said it integrates with all major virtualisation software and is available as a tower or rack.

The facility also hosts a six rack aisle containment system fitted with a range of Eaton UPS system, transfer switches, rack power modules, and ePDU rack power distribution systems. There is also an Eaton 27RU server rack cabinet present, along a selection of other recently-launched Eaton products.
