DFI has launched its first Pentium 4 motherboard for use with Double Data Rate SDRAM.
The NB70 supports Intel 478-pin processors and offers five peripheral component interconnect (PCI) slots, an AGP4X slot and a communication and networking riser (CNR) slot.
DFI provides two DDR dual in-line memory modules (DIMM) for memory capacity of up to 2GB.
The technology has been developed in line with Intel's Application Accelerator (IAA) - software that helps overcome the storage sub-system bottleneck resulting in enhanced performance and boot time.
The NB7-SC is available now from Magnafield and retails for $279.
