Australian Information Processing Systems (AIPC) has secured the rights to distribute and support customer relationship management (CRM) software by US-vendor Firstwave Technologies.
The Melbourne-based integrator and software developer chose Firstwave based on its architecture, customisation capabilities and a perceived dedication to customer service a statement released by AIPC said.
Meanwhile, long time CRM veteran Michael Lappen, director of AIPC has previously resold Firstwave's legacy product, TakeControl in his former role as managing director for Co-Cam Australia.
At the time Co-Cam was boasting around $7 million in revenues from the TakeControl product.
Under the terms of the agreement AIPC will provide providing dedicated resources in sales, marketing and services to be kicked off in Melbourne today and Sydney on Friday with seminars designed to re-introduce Firstwave to the local market.
"Firstwave was a market leader with its TakeControl product line and has now developed a leading Internet-based CRM solution. I believe Firstwave will once again reclaim its market position by delivering a product to companies that provides a scalable, cost-effective and high-performance solution," Lappen said.
