The app can be used to take notes of any ideas or to-dos on the move.

Setup is easy – all you need is a free Windows Live ID and OneNote helps you sign up.

Users can produce searchable notes using bullets, text and pictures and manage the lists with checkboxes.

Using the free Microsoft SkyDrive online storage, you can also access and make changes to your notes from any PC or Web browser.

The free version allows you to make and edit up to 500 notes. If you intend to create more, you can upgrade to an unlimited use version through an in-app purchase.

Pros: You are able to access your notes virtually, via the Internet on the Sky Drive online storage.

Cons: Free for up to 500 notes only.

Verdict: Very useful note taking app that can be accessed via the Cloud.
