IT services provider, Logicalis, has set plans in place to significantly ramp up its datacentre business.
As part of this manoeuvre, it has become a NetApp Gold partner in Australia following on from a global partnership between the two companies.
Combined with its Cisco expertise, the partnership enables Logicalis to supply and support FlexPod solutions in the market.
Logicalis CEO, Chris Meager, said it would like to grow its datacentre business to about 50 per cent of its business.
“It is doubling the size it is now,” he said. “We are one of the only organisations in Australia that can provide an integrated FlexPod maintenance offering, with a single phone number for support and SLA-backed managed services offerings.”
The service provider is also looking to recruit staff across Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne across sales and technical capabilities.
NetApp A/NZ vice-president, Peter O’Connor, said it was important to the vendor to make the right choices when deciding on new relationships.
