Oakton joins SAP-Microsoft Unite Partner Connection

Oakton intends to develop its consulting and implementation experience in SAP and Microsoft by offering its clients solutions that extend SAP competences and grow productivity through user-friendly systems architecture and implementation services.
The SAP-Microsoft Unite Partner Connection, set up in February 2011, is a joint partner program that generates new opportunities for global partners to reach more customers.
The collaboration was created in direct response to partner feedback and requests. It aims to aid the partners of both companies escalate their business opportunities using Microsoft and SAP joint solutions and product road maps.
SAP A/NZ director of ecosystems, Greg Ryan, said, “Oakton’s skills on the Microsoft platform combined with its SAP practice meant it qualified for membership and now have access to tools that will equip them to help their clients optimise business planning and technology investments.”
Oakton will focus on duet enterprise – the first joint product established by SAP and Microsoft under the program.
Duet enterprise connects Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and SAP solutions, enabling end users to easily access business processes and data.
Oakton is a Microsoft Gold partner and one of SAP's alliance partners offering a range of consulting services.
