Toshiba refreshes its Qosmio notebook range

Toshiba Australia has refreshed its Qosimo consumer notebook range to include a new HD entertainment and gaming notebook, the Qosmio F750, and upgrades to some of its Satellite range.
The Qosmio F750 is targeted at consumers who enjoy gaming and watching movies and TV on the go. It is designed with full HD vision, 2D to 3D conversion and an in-built TV tuner.
The 15.6-inch notebook features Clear SuperView display with LED backlighting, a 750GB hard drive and 8GB RAM within a red finish shell.
Toshiba Information Systems Division (ISD) B2C product marketing manager, Anthony Geronimo, said, “Consumers are looking for technology that seamlessly connects information in their homes – whether it’s streaming video to their TV, viewing photos, gaming, browsing the Web or listening to music.”
When the notebook is paired with Toshiba’s Media Controller, media content can be seamlessly shared with other devices in the home.
Its other key features include: Intel Core i7 Quad Core processors and the latest nVIDIA graphics, 3D Output via HDMI to a 3D enabled TV, USB 3.0, USB Sleep-and-charge and a 3D hard drive shock sensor.
The Qosmio F750 is priced at $1699.
The company also updated some of the products from its Satellite range – the Satellite C665, Satellite L730, Satellite L750 and Satellite P750.
The Satellite C655 runs on an Intel Core i3 processor, the Satellite L730 features a suite of audio and video enhancing technologies combined with the Toshiba Media Controller, the Satellite L750 integrates with all other gadgets and entertainment equipment and the Satellite P750 includes TV tuner and 3D Output via HDMI to 3D enabled TV.
