IT consulting outfit, L7 Solutions has become the first systems integrator in Western Australia to achieve VCE certification for Vblock.
VCE is the Virtual Computing Environment company, which was formed by EMC and Cisco with investments from VMware and Intel. The VCE alliance was inked in 2009 to deliver cloud computing infrastructure.
On top of this, L7 is also deploying a lab infrastructure within its new office worth $500,000 that will allow the company to demonstrate Vblock capabilities and complete certifications across Cisco UCS ATP (DCNI, DCSN and DCUC), EMC Celerra and Clariion environments. It will also roll out new training programs.
Plans are also underway for a new L7 cloud ready datacentre.
L7 CEO, Matt Sullivan, said the investment it has made in the VCE certification would help drive significant business growth as cloud technology is embraced by the market.
“The VCE certification will enable us to support businesses on their journey to the cloud by delivering IT solutions that combine virtualisation, networking, computing, storage, security, and management technologies with end-to-end vendor accountability,” Sullivan said.
L7 is also a EMC Signature Partner, Cisco Gold Partner and VMware Enterprise Solution Provider.
The company will be holding a seminar in Perth on April 14 to provide a full briefing on its VCE offering. For further details email: events@L7.com.au
