Communications integration outfit NSC has scored a $12 million deal to provide data services to the Australian Taxation Office and the Australian Customs Service.
The company has expanded its operations in Canberra to manage the Government contracts and now has Avaya Platinum partnership status firmly in its sights.
"Customer satisfaction with our key services has driven an increased level of demand from clients wanting to use NSC as a single-source solutions provider, managing both voice and data requirements," said managing director Craig Neil. "The expansion of operations in Canberra will be a pivotal part of our continued development."
Two new management roles have been created to oversee the business between Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. The company also announced the integration of solutions from Cisco and Nortel Networks.
Meanwhile, the company is also hosting computer telephony integration seminars on its recently completed implementation for Lion Nathan. The project was the first to integrate technologies from Siebel and Avaya. The seminars are being held nationally by NSC to provide application studies to enterprise businesses, with the next scheduled for December 5 in Melbourne.
"First-hand candid information about the bear traps as well as the benefits is the best kind of information any decision-maker researching their own business requirements can ask for," said Neil.
