ASG secures Vodafone services deal

Latest contract adds to the integrator's $140m new deals so far this year

ASG Group (ASX: ASZ) has landed a five year services contract with Vodafone (VHA).

ASG has had a relationship with the telco since 2006 and the latest deal comes with two one-year extension options.

Under the deal, ASG will supply corporate IT-support services.

ASG chief officer sales and strategic operations, Murray Rosa, said the contract presented a significant broadening of its relationship with VHA.

“The contract win was secured against strong competition highlighting the newly merged VHA’s satisfaction with ASG’s existing service offering and ability to provide flexible solutions to meet the increased and evolving needs of VHA,” Rosa said in a statement.

ASG boasts in 2010 it had secured more than $140 million in new contracts.

In March, it picked up a $41 million deal with the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.

The ASX-listed integrator has also splashed some cash on acquisitions, recently purchasing IT consulting firm, Capiotech for $30 million.

It also purchased Courtland Business Solutions in April.
