Happen and PrintSolv automate managed print services

Happen Business and PrintSolv have joined forces to deliver automated managed print service solutions.
The new offering will combine Happen Business’ Jim2 Photocopier Edition accounting software with FMAudit products, which are exclusively distributed by PrintSolv in A/NZ.
The companies claim the solution automates the billing and monitoring process for managed print service providers and delivers major savings to users.
The new solution will cost resellers $500-$1500 a month, depending on the number of customers. PrintSolv general manager, Andrew Tsiorvas, said the two companies came together after he received a recommendation at an industry seminar.
“I took it upon myself to get in contact with the guys from Happen after that about six months ago,” he said. “FMAudit automates the collection of the meter reads from the end client to the reseller. Happen will grab those meter reads and process them for billing.”
Tsiorvas said there was no set contract, minimum sales requirement or time limitation to the partnership. He expected customers to respond well to the new solution.
“A customer of that size [more than 1000 customers], may have two to three people taking up time for most of the month,” he said. “Through streamlining their operations, the RIO is pretty much instantaneous. If anything, it may even turn out to be a revenue generator.”
One Newcastle business has already signed up as the combo’s first customer. Tsiorvas expected more deals to be finalised by the end of the calendar year.
