NetAssure gets new sales manager

Ray McIntyre moves from Kaseya to SMB-focused managed services offering

NetComm’s NetAssure platform has found a new sales manager in Ray McIntyre.

Formerly of Kaseya, McIntyre joined the managed services provider in July. He said he was attracted to the role based on ongoing market opportunities.

“NetComm has brought to market a solution for the smaller systems integrator,” McIntyre said.

“My initial focus is partner recruitment. The solution fits the sub-50 user companies, and it’s a matter of going to those smaller systems integrators and explaining the simplicity and benefits it can offer clients.

“It’s a bandwidth and gateway management solution that also has security and reporting tools for compliance.”

In April, parent company NetComm released a profit guidance to the ASX claiming an expected significant increase in profit.

It acquired licensing rights to NetAssure from Make Networks late 2007, and began hunting for partners in mid 2008.
