The LifeBook P8020 is driven by Intel Core2 Duo processor technology for improved performance and optimum power conservation, together with the Intel GS45 + ICH9M chipset and Intel WiFi Link 5300AGN (3x3) for wireless connection. With storage capacity up to 250GB and support for up to 4GB memory, users can store business documents, leisure music files and more with ease, the vendor claims. The notebook features a Dual Layer DVD Super Multi Writer and built-in SD memory slot. It also has a long battery life, prolonged by a smart Shrink technology that combines several semiconductors into one and by its power-saving LED backlight technology. For Internet access, the unit features a 7.2Mbps UMTS connection integrated with 3.5G and HSDPA functions. It also houses a 1.3 megapixel camera, built-in microphones and dual stereo speakers. The P8020 weighs 1.3kg and comes with a security suite including the Fujitsu 3D shock sensor for decreasing the risk of damage to the hard drive, a BIOS lock, two-password hard disk lock, anti-theft lock slot and the optional trusted platform module. The notebook’s keyboard is spill resistant. The P8020 has an operation panel with function buttons that light up with a blue LED and a LifeBook logo lit by a white LED. This panel includes a large 70mm (L) by 43mm (W) and 81mm (diagonal) touchpad.
