Logica Australia has led a consortium bid of 13 companies to win a $25 million contract with the New South Wales Department of Public Works and Services (DPWS).
The hotly contested contract will see Logica partner with a range of specialist suppliers to develop an online trading hub and e-procurement marketplace for the DPWS.
The trading system is expected to become the largest in Australia, according to Logica, with up to 11 million transactions worth more than $17 billion processed annually.
Other consortium members include Intershop, CCG.XM, Acumen Alliance, Agent Oriented, QBT Consulting, Hi-Tech Personnel, Midac Media/Extreme Business, Pacific Commerce, Aspect Consulting, eSilk, SecureNet, and Solution 6.
