Departmental printers to address TCO
- 31 October, 2001 17:42
Printer vendor Kyocera Mita has added two new departmental printers to its Ecosys range, which target multi-functional capabilities in copying and printing. The FS-9100DN and FS-9500DN offer 36 and 50 page-per-minute print speeds respectively.
A standard networking card and a duplexing unit give the products high-end functionality. Kyocera Mita takes its total cost of ownership (TCO) message very seriously and claims these new Ecosys printers are market leaders in life-span low-cost printing for this class of machine.
The drum in the two printers is engineered to last up to 500,000 pages and over the life of the printer each page could cost as low as 1.09 cents, according to the vendor.
Kyocera Mita printers are distributed by Alloys International, BMS, Compu Wholesale, Dynamic, IT Wholesale, J. Mills Distribution and Tecksel.
