Ingram Micro has promoted Lyn Deutrom as its manager national and strategic accounts. She replaces Mark Dorevitch, whom has taken a role with rival distributor, Express Data.
Deutrom has spent the past 17 years at Ingram and was previously its Victorian, ACT and Tasmanian state manager. She will be in charge of developing and assisting national and strategic partners to grow their business.
Deutrom will also focus on driving Ingram's service offerings around its POS/RFID and Solutions Group business. She will broaden the role the role to have a national appeal.
Deutrom said one of her first focal points was to visit some of its large national account partners to find out how Ingram can work more closely with them.
"At the moment, I am still between managing Victoria and ACT. We will look at expanding the way that we touch and deal with our partners today," she said.
"At this stage I will be working with the tier-two vendors and the national customers to look at what their strategies are and obviously try and aid in marrying the two together."
