Security software vendor, AVG, has unveiled its Small Business Server (SBS) edition for AVG Internet Security and AVG Anti-Malware.
Designed to address SMB needs, the SBS edition offers users complete protection for their network, individual workstations and servers. It comes with a free license for one server and features AVGadmin, which allows users to manage all settings and updates as well as gain access to the remote administration capability that permits users to make critical and immediate security updates.
The Internet Security SBS edition is based on the AVG Internet Security Network edition 7.5, which was designed to meet small business requirements and protect data on individual workstations, email and file servers. The software also comes with antivirus and anti-spyware protection, personal firewall and anti-spam for email. The AVG Anti-Malware SBS edition also provides protection against viruses, spyware, Trojans and other malware. The product is suitable across server-based data and can support remote administration via the AVGadmin tool.
Local AVG distributor, Avalanche, is offering resellers the Internet Security SBS edition license packages from $482 and the AVG Anti-Malware SBS edition from $410. The price is based on the total number of active computers in the network.
