Three Australian-owned software companies have been honoured at the inaugural UK Trade and Investment International Business Awards.
Utility software developer, Mincom, won the Most Successful Collaboration, for its joint venture with UK company, AMT-Sybex.
Tower Software was a winner in the Contributor to Change category, designed to recognise companies that have developed technologies, products or business processes with the ability to change society or the economy.
Tower won the award for its electronic document management software, now being used by the British Library, UK government and the National Maritime Museum.
Victorian-based producer, Agent Oriented Software, also won an award in the New Business Entrant category.
All companies received two return business class tickets to the UK from the awards sponsors, British Airways.
