MessageLabs in a Box gets partners up and running

Security and managed services provider, MessageLabs, has unveiled a free online training program to complement the vendor's network of Associate Partners.
Dubbed MessageLabs in a Box, the all-in-one training and education program could be deployed in minutes, MessageLabs partner account director, Belinda Burgess, said.
"Most resellers barely have five minutes let alone five days to go through a certification process. So we designed a package that could be implemented in a matter of minutes to help get partners on board as soon as possible," she said.
The training program is open to any associate partner. It contains information about how MessageLabs services work, presentations, telephone scripts, case studies, pricing lists and assistance in identifying a sales opportunity.
It also has instant marketing tools that allow partners to upload logos into pre-made electronic direct mailouts, and supplies resellers with access to free sales training. This deals with everything from objection handling to the future benefits of a managed service.
"The new training program fits in perfectly with our Associate Partners program because it's all about ease of use," Burgess said.
