IBM has promoted CEO and MD of its Australia and New Zealand operation, Philip Bullock, to the role of vice-president of IBM Systems & Technology Group Asia-Pacific.
Based in Shanghai, China, Bullock's new role sees him heading IBM's hardware business across the Asia Pacific region.
In a statement from IBM, which contained no input from Bullock, it was announced that his immediate replacement will be Glen Boreham, who was formerly MD for IBM's business relationship with Telstra. He had held this role since July 2004.
Boreham is an IBM journeyman, joining the company in Sydney in 1986. His time with the company includes more than eight years working at IBM Japan and UK.
According to IBM, he is also a member of the IBM A/NZ Executive Leadership Team and serves on the board of IBM Australia Limited.
