Digital entertainment vendor Creative Labs has released the NOMAD MuVo TX digital audio player, an ultra-light MP3 Player and USB Flash Drive that stores up to eight hours of music. It features USB 2.0 connectivity and continuous play time of up to 15 hours. The NOMAD MuVo TX comes with 256MB, is small enough to fit on a key chain, has a blue, backlit LCD which displays full song information from ID3 tags and shows track number, play time, play mode and EQ setting. Play modes can be adjusted via a scroll button. It also contains a built-in microphone, with users able to record up to 16 hours of live audio. The NOMAD MuVo TX does not require cables and doubles as a USB flash drive. Users can transfer any file type from their PC onto the NOMAD MuVo TX (and vice versa) with drag and drop functionality. The player can also hold around 175 floppies discs of data and comes bundled with Creative MediaSource software for users who may have never used MP3 or WMA files before. The NOMAD MuVo TX digital audio player ships to Australia late April/early May and will be distributed by Achieva Technology.
