Memory module vendor, the Legend Group, has listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).
The company’s $8 million prospectus offer closed early due to being oversubscribed.
“We are pleased with the tremendous support for the initial public offer,” Legend Australia managing director, Bradley Dowe, said. “The monies raised in the IPO will be used to fulfill new sales orders from clients.”
The company has several global clients, including Dell, HP and NEC. It also sells to a range of Australian based clients, including Harvey Norman, Dick Smith and Myer.
“Our company is well positioned to take advantage of the current strong growth in demand for personal computers, particularly in the Asian region which we service from our Hong Kong office,” Dowe said.
The Adelaide-based company has been manufacturing memory products since 1993.
