Queensland-based dealer Kasys has cleaned up at Hewlett-Packard's dealer awards, winning three of the six national awards for Excellence on offer.
Amongst these was the award for Business Excellence - Reseller of the Year, which managing director Bob Keers says will be important for Kasys' future. "It's obviously an honour and something we can use to further where we're going."
Keers says this is the first time that this award has been won by a smaller, local dealer. The Hewlett-Packard awards are judged on a number of categories, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and marketing activity. While Kasys already has a Sydney office, Keers says the awards will add to his company's push to take on a national focus. In conjunction with Leading Solutions in Melbourne and Sydney, and CES in Canberra and Perth, Kasys is involved in an organisation called The Networkers Group, designed to enable cooperation between the three organisations when taking on national contracts. "Until now it's been a fairly loose arrangement," said Keers, "but we're going to be doing a lot more with that to enable us to be able to handle some of the Australia-wide accounts. So this award will help us to get that going."
