Determined to grow its new brand name, peripherals manufacturer Benq announced this week that it had appointed two more distributors to its Australian channel.
The company, formerly Acer Communications and Multimedia, has added Sydney-based Alepine Peripherals and Brisbane-based Compuworld to its three existing distributors, with a view to growing its presence in both NSW and Queensland.
"With the increasing demand in display and storage products, we believe 2002 is going to be even better than 2001 for peripheral distribution," Kamil Gurgen, marketing manager for Benq Australia, said in a press statement.
The other Benq distributors are BBF, DMA and Leader Systems.
