Seagate offers help for resellers

In an effort to make themselves the "easiest storage company to do business with" Seagate Technology has launched a Web site to assist resellers with sales tools, online diagnostics, configuration tools, capability guides and more.

Seagate, one of the world's leading disc drive and tape drive suppliers has introduced the Web site,, as part of their storage partner program which is designed exclusively for resellers. It enables Seagate to cater more directly to the channel's needs for information on products and ultimately assists resellers sell those products.

The success of the program throughout India and North America has been instrumental in its expansion to Australia. Seagate launched the program in the US in 1999 and thousands of resellers have signed to date.

Seagate partners can also access the authorised reseller training program which equips them with the necessary skills to recommend appropriate products to their clients.
