Internet software company, Sausage Software is fulfilling its acquisition strategy, recently scoring a purchase agreement with People Plus, a human resources consulting and software development firm.
People Plus provides consultancy services and business software solutions to personnel, recruitment, and consulting companies around Australia, New Zealand, the UK and South East Asia.
Wayne Bos, CEO of Sausage, said: "People Plus is a sound business with a strong commercial focus, blue chip corporate clients and a skill set that strengthens our professional services division, expands our business software offering and further enhances Sausage as an Application Service Provider (ASP)."
Bos said they had already identified synergies between People Plus and Sausage's Business in a Box click on products, and the plan was to incorporate the fully optioned version into a new module for their Pronto ERP software.
"The marriage of Sausage and People Plus comes at a time when human resource management is being recognised as the critical issue for business in the information age. The shortage of skills will be serious enough to impact on top and bottom lines in all parts of commerce and industry. People Plus is a resources management tool," said managing director of People Plus, Cameron Clark.
Clients of People Plus include SMS Consulting, Spotless, Elgas, Reddin Consulting and Hewlett Packard.
